Legislative Visit - Texas State Senate District 26
IEEE Lone Star Section members are invited to participate in this meeting with Senator Jose Menendez. The meeting will take place at the Senator's San Antonio office located at 4522 Fredericksburg Road, A-22. This is an opportunity to meet in person with your legislator or their staff member. See the attached point paper outlining our science, technology, engineering, and math legislative priorities. The group will also advocate for expanding intern and mentoring capacity at the San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology (SAMSAT).
Space is limited, so priority will be given to members that reside in Texas State Senate District 26.
The office is located at Wonderland Mall in Balcones Heights. Participants should park in the lower level of the parking garage located on Fredericksburg Road (right below the Ross Dress for Less and Hobby Lobby). In that lower level, there are two double doors that lead to the Senator's office, which will be on the left as you enter the building.
