OneAquaHealth IEEE Global Hackathon Learning Series

Session 5 of the OneAquaHealth Innovation Series Leading to the IEEE OneAquaHealth Global Hackathon

TOPIC: Turning data into Hackathon Innovation

How can citizen observations, environmental data, and predictive models become the starting point for new digital solutions?

The OneAquaHealth IEEE Global Hackathon Learning Series continues with Build with OneAquaHealth: Turning Data into Hackathon Innovation, a practical session designed to help participants move from learning about the OneAquaHealth ecosystem to building with it.

This session introduces three public-facing applications developed through OneAquaHealth: the Citizen Science App, Resilience Map, and Diptera Forecasting App. Participants will explore what these applications do, the data and capabilities behind them, and how they can serve as building blocks for new hackathon solutions. OneAquaHealth

The goal is not simply to demonstrate existing tools. Participants will be encouraged to think about how they can combine, extend, and build upon them using additional datasets, APIs, AI, analytics, visualization, and other emerging technologies to create new solutions addressing One Health challenges. OneAquaHealth

Whether your hackathon idea focuses on environmental monitoring, citizen engagement, public health, biodiversity, predictive analytics, AI, or data-driven decision-making, this session will help you identify opportunities to turn existing OneAquaHealth capabilities into the foundation for your own innovation
