The event will show how street-lighting infrastructure could support opportunity charging—allowing drivers to recharge where they already park.

Presentation focuses on a modular, bidirectional DC charger designed for future DC street-lighting networks. The concept aims to make charging more accessible while enabling smarter use of existing infrastructure. Its bidirectional design also opens possibilities for vehicles to supply energy back to the network and support future energy services.

The event will begin with welcome coffee and a presentation of the project’s concept, development and potential applications. We will then move outdoors for the reveal and demonstration of a streetlight-mounted EV charger.

The demo day welcomes researchers, industry partners, municipal representatives and anyone interested in electric mobility and urban energy infrastructure.
