This meeting is designed to introduce students to the IEEE Student Branch, its leadership team, activities, and opportunities available throughout the academic year. Attendees will have the chance to meet members of the executive committee, learn about the goals and mission of IEEE at KSU, and discover how the organization helps students connect their academic interests with professional and technical development. 

During the session, we will provide an overview of upcoming IEEE programs and events, including technical workshops, professional development sessions, industry-focused activities, competitions, networking opportunities, community outreach initiatives, and other student-led programs. Students will also learn how they can become involved in the branch, participate in events, contribute to projects, volunteer for activities, and explore future leadership opportunities. 

The meeting will also highlight some of the key benefits of participating in IEEE, such as developing technical and professional skills, expanding your network, connecting with students who share similar interests, gaining leadership experience, accessing valuable IEEE resources, and becoming part of a global engineering and technology community. 

All Kennesaw State University students are welcome, regardless of major, academic year, or previous experience with IEEE. Students from engineering, computing, technology, cybersecurity, data science, business, and other disciplines who are interested in innovation, technology, professional development, or leadership are encouraged to attend.
