Advancements in RF Sensor Technologies for Industry 4.0
Industrial Automation 4.0 relies heavily on advanced sensing technologies to enhance connectivity, security, and operational efficiency. Key sensor innovations are highlighted through recent developments in radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic designs. A multiobjective and fast optimization algorithm for wearable antenna arrays improves worker connectivity and real-time tracking in smart environments. Furthermore, the deployment of 3D chipless RFID tags provides robust anti-counterfeiting and secure asset management capabilities. Together, these advancements demonstrate how optimized RF architectures and secure identification sensors drive the integration of the intelligent tracking systems essential for modern industrial ecosystems.
