Biography:

Dr Shaikat Debnath is an Engineering Specialist at Potentia Energy, with over 16 years of experience in the power and energy industry. He holds a PhD from The University of Queensland and has extensive experience in the engineering, design, delivery, and operation of power infrastructure and utility-scale renewable energy projects. His expertise includes utility-scale BESS, power systems, substations, grid integration, EPC delivery, and technical due diligence. In his current role at Potentia Energy, he leads the engineering development of utility-scale BESS projects ranging from approximately 125 MW to 1,000 MW.
