Tucson Section Meeting September 2026
September Meeting - 9/10/26
Called to order 6:05pm
Attendance: Joseph Wu, Jacob Ishak-Boushaki (UA Student Chair), Richard Morse, Hector Garcia, Jude Coompson, Jesse Kolodzie (UA Student Vice Chair), Jeff Seligman, Terrence Pat, Andrea Martin (online)
Treasury - Tucson received its yearly rebate recently
Student section - Had an officer meeting and general meeting. Joseph offered to speak on debugging circuits at meeting. Suggested contact to TI for meetings.
Tucson section - Need to run elections this year. Joseph to reach out to some members to help with planning soon.
LMAG - Keith has been running a fun group with online meetings on AI, recently had an in-person meeting.
MTT-S - Nothing planned for the moment. Chair has been ill for several months.
CAS/SSCS - May be getting together an online meeting with a speaker for Oregon State.
Future meetings - Volunteer came forward to offer meeting on Functional Safety and Safety Critical Control Systems. Will discuss to see if it aligns with CAS/SSCS as well, but may be a good topic.
Other - Jeff is running another EMC class at Pima, may try to piggy-back a tour/meeting with his class.
