It will cover the main stages involved in submitting a manuscript, followed by an introduction to the peer review process and the aspects authors should consider when preparing their work for publication.

The Scientific Peer Review Process

This presentation explains the peer review process and its role in scientific publishing. It will discuss the different stages of manuscript evaluation, common aspects considered by reviewers, and how authors can respond to comments and improve their manuscripts.

Biography:

Gustavo Siles Soria es Doctor en Tecnologías y Sistemas de Comunicaciones por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM, España), Máster en Microondas y Sistemas de Telecomunicaciones por la Université de Montpellier (UM, Francia), e Ingeniero Electrónico por la Universidad Mayor de San Simón. Realizó sus investigaciones doctorales en el Departamento de Señales, Sistemas y Radiocomunicaciones de la UPM (2009-2015) y fue Ingeniero y Coordinador de Proyectos en la Agencia Boliviana Espacial (2015-2017). Desde 2017 es Profesor Investigador Titular en la Universidad Privada Boliviana (UPB), donde es Director del Laboratorio de Radiocomunicaciones (LRC, https://lrc.upb.edu/). Sus áreas de investigación son la radiopropagación atmosférica y sistemas de comunicaciones inalámbricos. Es Senior Member del IEEE y Presidente del Capítulo Bolivia del IEEE AP-S (Antennas and Propagation Society). Ha sido ganador de 2 Premios Plurinacionales de Investigación en el área TICs, y publicado más de 65 artículos científicos en revistas y congresos internacionales
