Health data analysis is at a turning point. This talk traces how healthcare analytics evolved from basic record keeping into today's AI driven clinical support tools, moving through descriptive statistics in the 1990s, predictive analytics in the 2000s, machine learning in the late 2010s, and now generative AI. We'll look at what drove that shift, including data, technology, policy, and economics, and what it means for where health data analysis is headed next.
