The increasing demand for real-time intelligence at the edge necessitates a transition from conventional von Neumann architectures toward more energy-efficient and reduced-latency alternatives. This talk explores the concept of analog neuromorphic computing which mimics the biological neural processes by leveraging the continuous physical properties of electronic devices. The physical hardware deployment of analog neuromorphic computing provides massive parallelism and superior energy efficiency compared to discretized digital logic systems.

Analog Neuromorphic Computing for Edge-AI

Biography:

Paweł Sitarz is a Polish engineer, entrepreneur, and technology executive, best known as the co-founder and CTO of SEMIQA, a semiconductor startup developing analog neural network technology for next-generation edge AI computing. Based in Poland, he specializes in embedded systems, IoT, and hardware engineering, with a strong focus on energy-efficient AI architectures and neuromorphic-inspired computing.
Before launching SEMIQA in 2025 together with Tomasz Matusiak, he built extensive experience as an application engineer and engineering team leader. He studied at Wrocław University of Science and Technology and has been active in deep-tech innovation initiatives connected to AI hardware and semiconductor ecosystems.
Under his technical leadership, SEMIQA became part of NVIDIA Inception and gained international visibility through participation in programs and events across Europe and Asia, including semiconductor and AI industry conferences in Taiwan and South Korea. The company focuses on analog neural networks designed to reduce power consumption and improve processing efficiency compared to traditional digital AI systems.
He is also active as a public speaker and commentator on artificial intelligence, discussing the future of AI infrastructure, edge computing, and the broader impact of AI adoption on business and society.
