UNGA PES & R1+2 YP: Global Power and Energy Session
Powering Intelligence: Data Center Loads, Workforce Readiness and Sustainable Energy Systems
AI is transforming the world, but powering that transformation is becoming one of the defining infrastructure challenges of the decade.
Join IEEE Young Professionals and IEEE PES at Jay Conference Empire in New York City on Friday, September 25th for a global dialogue bringing together leaders and emerging professionals from across energy, technology, sustainability, and international development. Participants include representatives from organizations such as UNIDO, the IRENA Youth Council, Youth for Sustainability at Masdar, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and IEEE.
Powering Intelligence will explore one of the defining challenges of the AI era: how rapidly growing data center demand is reshaping the electric grid, the workforce needed to build and operate it, and the path toward sustainable digital infrastructure. Through keynote remarks, an interactive international dialogue, documentary storytelling, and networking, the event will connect perspectives from across the power, technology, policy, and sustainability communities.
