Abstract:
How does generative AI work? What is it being used for? What should it be used for? What are the ethical issues in the production of AI tools, and in their use? More than a how-to talk, this presentation explores the philosophy of intelligence and personhood and the limits of artificial intelligence, particularly in engineering.

Bill Lovegrove
Biography:
Bill Lovegrove received his PhD from the ECE department at Clemson in 1990. He is an IEEE senior life member and a professor of engineering at Bob Jones University with a long interest in AI in general and autonomous vehicles in particular.
