IEEE Hawaii Women in Engineering the Hitachi Rail Tour
Join the IEEE Hawaiʻi Section Women in Engineering (WIE) for a technical tour of Hitachi Rail.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn about rail transportation technology and the engineering systems that support safe and reliable rail operations. The tour will provide insight into the multidisciplinary work associated with rail systems, including operations, electrical and mechanical systems, communications, controls, safety, and maintenance.
This event offers students, IEEE members, and engineering professionals an opportunity to connect engineering concepts with real-world transportation applications, ask questions, and learn more about careers in the rail industry.

Advance registration is required. Space may be limited. Additional information regarding the meeting location, parking, required identification, attire, and safety requirements will be provided to registered participants.
Attendees must follow all safety instructions provided by Hitachi Rail personnel and IEEE event organizers. Closed-toe shoes are recommended, and photography may be restricted in certain areas.
