Biography:

Dr. Omveer Singh has 19 years of experience in teaching as well as research and development. He achieved his B. Engg. (Electrical Engineering), M. Tech. (Engineering Systems) and Ph.D. (Power Systems) from Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia (NAAC A++ Grade, A Central University), New Delhi. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in Deptt. of Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering, Gautam Buddha University (Established by Government of Uttar Pradesh), Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is also serving as an Additional Director (Electrical) in Gautam Buddha University. He is an active Senior Member of IEEE and Power & Energy Society of Asia Pacific Region. Also, Member-Company Level in Consumer Grievance Redressal Forms (CGRF), Noida Power Company Ltd., Gautam Budha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. He has achieved Best Researcher Award of ITSR Foundation Award-2023. He is Editor and Co-editor of several Journals like Journal of World’s Electrical Engineering and Technology (Iran), International Journal of Emerging Advancements in Electronics and Electrical Engineering (USA), Progress of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Journal, WHIOCE Publishing Pvt. Ltd., and Advance Innovation and Technology with Sustainability Engineering, International Journal of Social Ecology and Sustainable Development (IGI Global, USA), etc.. He is also providing voluntary service to several National/International publishing houses as a Reviewer. He has published more than 120 research articles in the peer refereed journals, reputed conferences and book chapters. Presently, he has guided 04 research scholars, 01 Submitted, 44 M. Tech. and 54 B. Tech. students. Also, guiding 04 research scholars, 01 M.Tech. and 04 B. Tech. students. He has diversified research interests in the areas of Power Systems, Solar Power Systems, Electric Vehicles and Artificial Intelligence, etc.

Prof. Rathore has 22+ years of teaching and research experience in leading universities and institutions. He has supervised 20 awarded PhDs (with 6 scholars currently under supervision), published 97 research papers (including 58+ Scopus indexed), authored 12 books, and edited 11 international Scopus/SCI indexed conference proceedings with Springer.

His research interests include Cloud Computing, Internet Security, IoT, and Big Data, and he serves as a reviewer/editor for reputed international journals. He holds 4 patents (2 granted, 2 published).

He has been the PC Chair/Convener of major international conferences such as ICE-TEAS, NICE-TEAS Europe, UNI-TEAS, MP-TEAS, FICR-TEAS, ICICT (UK), SmartCom (Thailand) and many others, most of them published with Springer/IEEE. He actively engages in building academic collaborations with universities in 20+ countries, promoting Erasmus+, DST, SERB, NSF and other international projects.
