Robotics Dog – Hands-on & Technical Session
The IEEE Signal Processing Society, JUIT Student Branch Chapter organized a two-day Robotics Dog Event from 11–12 August 2026 as a promotional and technical awareness initiative for IEEE SPS JUIT. The event featured the Unitree Go2 EDU, providing students with an opportunity to experience advanced quadruped robotics through hands-on practice and a detailed technical session.
The first day, 11 August 2026, focused on hands-on interaction with the robotic dog, including its basic operation, movement, navigation, and control. The second day, 12 August 2026, featured a technical session covering the robot's construction, working principle, components, sensors, actuators, navigation, AI capabilities, and practical applications. The technical session concluded at 7:30 PM.
The event aimed to introduce students to the practical integration of robotics, electronics, signal processing, artificial intelligence, sensing, and control systems, while creating awareness about the activities and opportunities offered by IEEE SPS JUIT.
