Inspiring Future Engineers through Women in Engineering Informatics
The IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune proposes to organize a panel on women in engineering informatics during ICEI 2026, to be held at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune on 5 December 2026. The activity will invite 20 female secondary school students to attend the conference for one day, including the WIE panel. The panel will bring together three to four women professionals from academia and industry to share their experiences, career pathways, and perspectives on opportunities in engineering informatics, Industry 4.0, Industry 5.0, and emerging technologies. The students will also have an opportunity to attend technical exhibitions and demonstrations and interact with researchers, professionals, and university students. The requested US$400 will support catering for the 20 participating school students at US$20 per student, including tea, snacks, and lunch for the day..
