Workshop "NextGEN in Computing" - IEEE Day 2026
IEEE Day 2026 celebrates the anniversary of the first IEEE technical meeting in 1884, and this year our Student Branch brings it to life with the event "πππππππ π’π§ πππππππππ".
Our event aims at bringing together bachelor's, master's and PhD students at UNIVPM to explore emerging trends in computing and AI and their ethical and security implications. The event combines invited talks, interactive project pitches, networking opportunities, and a dedicated poster session, creating an opportunity for students and early-career researchers to present and discuss their work with peers and members of the IEEE community.
The Poster Session is open to computing-related topics broadly, including AI, cybersecurity, robotics, quantum computing, software engineering, medical image processing, and other areas of computing. Participants are welcome to reuse an existing or previously published poster, so no new poster printing is required. The preferred poster language is English. The event will be an opportunity to share research, exchange ideas, receive feedback, and connect with other students and researchers interested in the future of computing.
