Senior Membership Elevation - - Best Practices and Why!
Applying to Upgrade to Senior Member
Are you qualified for upgrade to IEEE Senior Member? If you have been in professional practice as an engineering designer, researcher, instructor, or consultant for 10 years or more, you probably are. Then, if you can document at least 60-months worth of Significant Performance during that 10 or more years, you are! Actually, more IEEE members are qualified than they believe themselves to be because college can count for up to 5-years of Professional Experience.
Region 5 WIE is hosting an event that will remove the mystery of what is required for Professional Experience and Significant Performance. We will even take care of the required Reference Writers for you.
It is recommended to download and complete the R-3 Sr. Member resume before the event; the resume form will help us with your application. R3-Sr. Member Resume Template 1.2 We have also the Region 5 Application Guidance document to help you. You do not need to start the application ahead of time; but it is perfectly OK to do so if you wish.
