Benefits and Opportunities for Women in Engineering through IEEE

This programme is a one-day professional development programme designed to expose female engineering and technology students to career opportunities, professional networking, leadership pathways, innovation and the resources available through IEEE Women in Engineering. The programme will combine an expert lecture, interactive career session and student innovation exercise to create measurable learning and engagement outcomes.

This programme aims to-

·       increase awareness of career opportunities for women in engineering and technology;

·       familiarize students with IEEE WIE resources, professional networks and leadership opportunities;

·       connect students with women professionals and mentors;

·       develop career planning, confidence and leadership skills;

·       encourage participation in IEEE and STEM activities;

·       and provide a platform for students to express innovative ideas.
