Participants will build five Python modules using the open source Strands Agents framework and locally hosted Ollama language models. Scenarios involving housing instability, medication access, and crisis response will guide the development of a multiagent pipeline for intake, triage, specialist dispatch, and continuing care. The exercises demonstrate three forms of human oversight: an interrupt for human review, an escalation gate for critical safety decisions, and collaborative editing that records human accountability. The discussion also covers data minimization, explainability, and the right to opt out.
