UMIEEE will be hosting an IEEE Day Celebration in the Atrium from 10 AM - 2 PM. IEEE Day is an annual event that celebrates the first time in history when engineers worldwide gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884. One of the IEEE Day’s objectives is to show the ways IEEE members, in local communities, join together to collaborate on ideas that leverage technology for a better tomorrow.
Come join us while we celebrate this year's topic: "Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow."
In the Atrium we will be hosting the following:
- Student and Researcher Project Showcase
- Light Refreshment table
- IEEE Day Information booth
- Interactive activity
Whether you’re an IEEE member, an engineering student, or just curious about what your fellow students and researchers are building, come stop by and see what’s happening!
