  • SCAMP Milestone Event Scheduled (Thanks to Kathy HH): 

    • Wednesday, November 11, 2026, 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Location: Rancho Bernardo History Museum in the Bernardo Winery. The plaque unveiling is at 3:15 PM, followed by the ceremony, speakers, and appetizers at 4:00 PM in the winery's Vito's Park. Everyone is welcome, but all attendees must pre-register by October 26: https://cvent.me/eLPynG

  • Section Officers' Rising Stars Attendance Update
  • IEEE pledged to SDCEC Awards Banquet 2027:

    • Kathy HH will be one of the two keynotes
    • IEEE SD Section will get two tables (already budgeted for this year)
    • If IEEE wants to recommend a new Legend or two, it needs to be done prior to Jan 2.
