On the occasion of IEEE Day 2026, the IEEE TEMS Student Branch Chapter, University of Engineering & Management (UEM) Kolkata, in association with the Industry Liaison Committee, IEEE Kolkata Section, is organizing a webinar on "The Future of Learning, Engineering and Work in the Age of AI."
Artificial intelligence is changing how engineers learn, design and work. The talk will discuss what this shift means for students, educators and practising professionals: the skills that will matter, how engineering practice is evolving, and how academia and industry can prepare for it together.

AI is rapidly moving from a tool that assists us to an intelligent collaborator that can learn, reason, create and act. As machines increasingly take on tasks once considered uniquely human, the way we learn, teach, engineer and work is bound to change.

27+ years in the IT industry with extensive experience across the board and industry domains. He presently heads the industry advisory for EdTech, Publishing and Information Services industry segment.
