The Future of Learning, Engineering, and Work in the Age of AI

The IEEE Kolkata Section Industry Liaison committee, TEMS Kolkata Section, in association with the TEMS Student Branch Chapter, UEM Kolkata, is organizing a special webinar as part of the IEEE Day celebrations.

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly evolving from a tool that assists humans into an intelligent collaborator capable of learning, reasoning, creating, and acting. As machines increasingly take on tasks once considered uniquely human, the way we learn, teach, engineer, innovate, and work is undergoing a significant transformation.

The webinar will explore the changing landscape of learning, engineering, and work in the age of AI, with a focus on the evolving relationship between humans and intelligent machines. It will address the thought-provoking question: “When machines become increasingly capable of doing what we do, what remains uniquely valuable about being human?”

Mr. Koushik Chakraborty
Head – Industry Advisory, CMTS, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)

Mr. Koushik Chakraborty has over 27 years of experience in the IT industry, with extensive experience across technology and industry domains. He presently heads the Industry Advisory function for the EdTech, Publishing and Information Services industry segment at TCS. His extensive industry experience will provide valuable perspectives on the impact of AI on education, engineering, professional skills, and the future of work.
