Pragatii 2.0: SIH 2026 Internal Hackathon
Pragatii 2.0: SIH 2026 Internal Hackathon is the official internal innovation and idea-screening competition organized by the IEEE Student Branch, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur (STB10055) in preparation for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026. The event serves as a platform for students to transform innovative ideas into impactful technological solutions that address real-world challenges aligned with national priorities.
The hackathon brings together multidisciplinary teams of students to ideate, design, prototype, and present innovative solutions across domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Cybersecurity, Robotics, Smart Healthcare, Agriculture, Sustainability, FinTech, Smart Mobility, Education, and Digital Governance. Participants are encouraged to develop practical, scalable, and user-centric solutions using emerging technologies to solve industry and societal problems.
Pragatii 2.0 fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship by providing participants with opportunities to work under the guidance of experienced faculty mentors, industry experts, and IEEE professionals. Teams will be evaluated on the basis of innovation, technical feasibility, implementation strategy, scalability, social impact, presentation quality, and alignment with SIH problem statements.
Beyond serving as the selection platform for SIH 2026, the event is designed to strengthen participants' skills in design thinking, rapid prototyping, teamwork, project management, problem-solving, and technical communication. It also encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and promotes an ecosystem of research, innovation, and technology-driven entrepreneurship within the university.
