Join us for a premier networking experience designed to connect local students, emerging academics, and international researchers in a vibrant, collaborative atmosphere right on the university campus. This event serves as a dynamic meeting point to promote collaboration opportunities between academia, industry, and global IEEE networks, opening with an interactive overview of the career-accelerating benefits, leadership pathways, and global impact offered by the IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC) and the Young Professionals (YP) community. To naturally break the ice and spark organic conversations, attendees will participate in a friendly, fast-paced team trivia challenge in groups, working together to solve progressive elimination rounds based on core conference fields like nanomaterials, life sciences, and quantum technologies. The core of the evening features an exclusive social mixer supported by a professional on-site catering service offering an excellent selection of foods and refreshing drinks, providing the perfect premium, relaxed environment for everyone to comfortably mingle, share research insights, establish lasting professional relationships, and enjoy a great time together.

Agenda

The activity will be held in a location that fosters integration and comfort among participants.

The activity will be divided into two sections:

  • Part One: Orientation & Professional Impact

    • A welcome and introduction will be provided by the IEEE organization, and the history, mission, and benefits of the IEEE, as well as the "What is IEEE Young Professionals?" we will present an overview of the history, global infrastructure, and specialized benefits of YP and NTC networks.

  •  Part Two: Interactive Elimination Challenge & Catered Social Hour

    • An engaging on-campus session featuring professional insights, an elimination trivia game, and open networking.

    •  Food, drink and informal networking to encourage collaboration.
