IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Summit 2026 - Colombo, Sri Lanka
The IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Summit 2026 – Colombo, organized by the IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group of Sri Lanka, is a locally organized IEEE WIE event that brings together women in engineering, technology professionals, academics, entrepreneurs, students, and aspiring leaders to connect, learn, and exchange ideas.
Held under the theme “Empowering Women Leaders in Technology, Innovation, and Sustainable Futures,” the summit aims to strengthen leadership capabilities, encourage entrepreneurship, highlight emerging and disruptive technologies, and inspire women to take an active role in shaping a sustainable and innovative future.
The summit will provide an engaging platform for participants to gain insights from experienced industry and technology leaders through keynote sessions and panel discussions, while also creating opportunities for networking, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
The program will feature sessions covering Empowerment & Leadership Development, Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization, Women-Led Startups, Sustainable Energy Systems, Emerging & Disruptive Technologies, and personal development. The event will also include Mentoring Circles, an Icebreaker Session, Women-Led Startup Showcase, and IEEE Student Branch Presentations, providing participants with opportunities to showcase ideas, learn from peers, and build meaningful connections.
