Biography:

Ts. Rakesh Santiran is an experienced Safety, Health, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability trainer and practitioner with over 15 years of experience across industrial manufacturing environments. He currently serves as Asia Pacific HSE Manager / Plant QHSE Manager, leading HSE, quality governance, and sustainability initiatives across multiple manufacturing operations.

Rakesh specialises in practical, workplace-focused training that connects regulatory compliance, risk management, and shop-floor implementation. His expertise includes Integrated Management Systems aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, safety audits, incident investigation, contractor management, occupational health monitoring, emergency preparedness, and environmental compliance.

He holds a Master's in Safety, Health & Environmental (Engineering) from the University of Malaya and is a registered member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). His professional credentials include CQI/IRCA ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, NIOSH safety competency, CePSWaM/CePBFO, and Poison Act 1952 License B, complementing his extensive practical industry experience.
