IoT Bootcamp program is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of electronics, microcontrollers, sensors, programming, networking, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications through practical, hands-on activities.
The bootcamp will have the use of NodeMCU ESP8266 along with DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, active buzzer, and SG90 servo motor. Participants will be provided Arduino IDE to program the microcontroller and progressively developed practical IoT applications.
Objectives
- To introduce students to the fundamental concepts of Internet of Things (IoT).
- To provide hands-on exposure to microcontrollers and electronic components.
- To demonstrate the practical application of sensors and actuators.
- To introduce participants to programming and interfacing using NodeMCU ESP8266.
- To develop an understanding of sensor-based monitoring and automation.
- To demonstrate Wi-Fi-based control of physical devices.
- To encourage students to explore electronics, IoT, robotics, and computer engineering.
