IEEE CTS CTCN/LMAG Hybrid Meeting, 10-22-2026, "The Future of Healthcare Analytics: From Dashboards to AI Agents"
This is a Hybrid meeting starting at 6:30 PM Central Std. Time.
Healthcare organizations have more data than ever, spread across claims, clinical and EHR systems, finance and operations, and quality measures. Yet most analytics still follows a slow cycle: data feeds dashboards, analysts read them, and leaders decide. This talk traces how healthcare analytics has evolved, from IT-run reports and enterprise dashboards in Tableau and MicroStrategy, through self-service BI, to conversational analytics with tools like Databricks Genie. It follows a single healthcare claim through a modern data warehouse to show where analysts' time goes today and where AI agents can take on part of that work, from spotting risk signals to recommending action. The talk then looks ahead to multi-agent systems and autonomous healthcare by 2028 and beyond, and offers a maturity model so organizations can assess where they stand. It argues for a partnership in which AI brings speed and pattern detection while people bring context, empathy and judgment. It ends with four takeaways: invest in data foundations, adopt conversational analytics, build governance in, and prepare for agentic healthcare.
