This interactive Lunch & Learn explores how data analytics, data science, and software engineering come together to support credit risk decision-making. Drawing from real-world practices in lending and risk modelling, participants will learn how credit risk models are developed, deployed, monitored, and used to support responsible lending decisions. The session highlights the full lifecycle of model development, common challenges in model development, the roles that contribute to successful data analytics, and the technical and professional skills that help students stand out in the workforce. The attendees will gain insight into career opportunities at the intersection of software engineering, data science, and financial risk management.
