Hello,

The Washington Communications Society, along with our cosponsors, invites you to attend the Artificial Intelligence Applications on the Raspberry Pi 4 Controller workshop on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM at the Catholic University of America campus in Washington, D.C.

The workshop offers participants hands-on exposure to the Conversational Artificial Intelligence Companion Organizing and Research Program (CAICORP). The pace is focused since the activities are performed in groups with minimal breaks to achieve the goal of completing all four levels and close with advanced topics. No prior experience in scripting or programming required to participate.

It is highly recommended that you eat prior to attending the workshop as activities will be performed in groups with just a couple of brief breaks during the workshop.

Date Sunday October 25, 2026
Time 11:30 AM-6 PM
Location Catholic University of America
Address 740 Pope Leo Lane NE Washington, District of Columbia 20064
Building: Pangborn Hall Room Scullen Conference Room (Pangborn 110); Pangborn First Floor Lobby

Workshop Overview

CAICORP (Conversational Artificial Intelligence Companion Organizing and Research Program) is a stand-alone personal AI using wisdom files.

Structure & Teamwork
Participants will work in teams of three, with one machine provided per team. Roles will be assigned as follows:

 - Operator: Operates the machine.
 - Director: Reads the workshop manual and guides the operator.
 - Observer: Observes the process and takes notes.

To ensure everyone gains hands-on experience, team members will rotate roles at the completion of each section so that each participant performs all three roles by the end of the workshop.

Curriculum Levels
 - Level 1: Conversant operating mode.
 - Level 2: Linguistic engineer model.
 - Level 3: Wisdom status, including executing viewing IR pairs, viewing semantic linkages, meditating, and demonstrating the Socrates Syllogism.
 - Level 4: Using the inference engine, auditing wisdoms, discussing the dangers of hallucination, and executing the Re-Birth Cycle.
- Conclusion & Networking The workshop will conclude with discussions on advanced topics, including why we should never have AI Super Intelligence and why primary notions cannot be deleted. Afterward, participants are invited to network over dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Biography:

Mr. Rodolfo “Rolo” Martinez developed Conversational Artificial Intelligence Companion Organizing and Research Program (CAICORP) from the ground up utilizing C++. CAICORP uses QUICKLOOKER, as its search engine.

With over 35 years of engineering experience in the industry, Mr. Martinez's expertise includes coding C++ classes for complex variable arithmetic, matrix operations, the solution of simultaneous equations, and curve-fitting with least-squares using his multi-factor maximum-likelihood search program, the Similametric Space search algorithm.
Additionally, Mr. Martinez has served as Chair for the Control Systems Chapter and is the 2027 Section Chair-Elect for Northern Virginia.
