Talk will summarize the effects of multiple transmitters and receivers in close proximity; the impact on range, power, signal purity, available channels etc, as well as root causes such as backdoor intermod, receiver desense, etc. Talk will then focus on the transmitter side and quantify the tradeoffs of the various possible solutions ranging from filtering at various powers to filter/LNA cascades and each solution’s impact on system
performance.
Ken Kenjale recently joined Pole/Zero in the capacity of Business Development and Strategy. Ken holds a BS and MS and doctoral work in physics and engineering from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and an MBA from the University of California.. Pole/Zero is the world leader in assuring communications links, in dense RF environments. With tens of thousands of filters and sub-systems in service daily on platforms spanning aircraft, ships and UAVs to radios, amplifiers and VAAs, Pole/Zero brings to the battlespace,
engineering depth, theoretical analysis and a fielded production line all focused on solving communications challenges in dense RF environments.
