[Legacy Report] 2011 IEEE CS Student Officers Meet - Hyderabad (ICSSOM)

We would like to invite you and your petitioned/interim IEEE CS Chapter to participate in the 2011 IEEE CS Student Officers Meet - Hyderabad (ICSSOM) to be held on 16th October 2011 (Sunday) between 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM at Tata Consultancy Services Limited, Pravaha Hall, Khan Lateef Khan Building, Basheerbhag, Hyderabad.

1) Objective
With increasing number of student chapters and significant interest within the IEEE CS Student leadership, it would be very helpful to organize an IEEE CS Student Chapter Leadership meeting on a pilot basis to help the Student leadership operate and manage their student chapters is sustainable and productive way. The agenda has been designed in line with the the IEEE CS India Meeting head on 20th November 2010 at Hyderabad, except that this will have a focus on CS Student activities while keeping the theme and benefits intact.

2) Participants
We wish to invite 2 student leaders (ideally Chair, Secretary or Vice Chair) and the Chapter mentor (faculty) from each student chapter. The following chapters are expected to participate in this event without fail:

Aurora Technical & Research Institute, Hyderabad
Muffakam Jah College of Eng. & Tech., Hyderabad
Sreenidhi Institute of Sci. and Tech., Hyderabad
Vignana Bharathi Institute of Tech., Hyderabad
SR Engineering College, Warangal (petitioned)
Gandhi Institute of Technology & Management, Vizag (petitioned)

Please note IEEE CS will reimburse return fair by 3 AC Train for 2 students + 1 faculty for overnight journeys or AC Chair Car Train for shorter distances (ex: Warangal). IEEE will not be able to reimburse for participants local to Hyderabad. Breakfast, Lunch & Tea will be provided for all participants.

Landmark: This place (Khan Latif Khan Building) is very close to the Hyderabad Assembly (300 mts) and Hyderabad Railway Station (500 mts - Also known as Nampally Railway Station). This building is also sometimes referred to as Tata Indicom building. The ground floor of this building houses shopping malls of which West Side is prominent.

The meeting will happen at the TCS office which is located on the 6th floor and the registrations will be done from the reception desk here.

Security Procedures: Due to the heightened security measures undertaken these days - you are requested to carry a photo id-proof (your institution issued photo-id card is appreciated) when at the venue. You maybe subjected to frisking and detailed examination of your baggage. We request you to kindly cooperate with the security in this regard.
