The PES and IAS Chapters will sponsor a series of technical seminars on the topic of electrical testing. This third seminar will be on the topic of electrical testing of protective relays. The session will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Automatic Switch Company, 50 Hanover Road, Florham Park, NJ 07932.
Topic:
The seminar will cover electrical testing of protective relays. The agenda includes:
• State Simulation Testing
• Constant Source Impedance Test Method
• Use of COMTRADE
• Theory and Testing of Transformer Differential Relays
• Testing Frequency Relays
The scope of this seminar is applicable to all protective relaying, however the emphasis will be on relay applications in the medium and high voltage areas.
