IEEE Signal Processing: Algorithms, Architectures, Arrangements, and Applications (SPA) Conferences grew up from the Signal Processing (SP) Workshops organized by the Polish IEEE Circuits and Systems Chapter (CAS Chapter for short) since 1993.

Among the SPA aims are: presentation of the newest achievements in a wide and interdisciplinary area of signal processing and integration of researchers active in this and in related fields of science and technology,
as these specialists usually represent various and to some extent disjoint scientific disciplines.

Distinguished scientists and experts were guests and participants.

We were having two very interesting tutorial presentations, which
were covering a very broad spectrum of signal processing problems starting with the quantum computations and respective signal processing concepts and continuing with the design of modern nano-electronic systems for signal processing, they are prepared by: Professor Stephane Burignat and Professor Heinrich Theodor Vierhaus.
