[Legacy Report] Hands-On LATEX Tutorial conducted by IIT-Roorkee IEEE MTT17 Student Branch Chapter

A hand-on LATEX tutorial was conducted for the benefit of students. The instructor is one of the members of IEEE MTT-S and is an experienced PhD Scholar in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee. Through introductory presentation and practical demonstration, it was shown how LATEX would be used in preparing high quality technical papers, reports, thesis, books and PPTs etc. Particularly, it was highlighted that one would not have to worry about managing citation, equation numbers, figure numbers and placement of figures etc. through usage of LATEX. This would significantly reduce tremendous labour work required to prepare a report.
