Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Roorkee's IEEE MTT17 Student Branch Chapter organized a distinguished guest talk on 'R&D Opportunities in India: A Case Study of CSIR-CEERI'. The speaker, Dr. S. N. Joshi, is an Emeritus Scientist at an esteemed Indian research organization, CEERI-Pilani.
The talk informed students about diverse research organizations, present in parts of the country, along with their focus areas of work. It also highlighted various higher studies and technical work opportunities at these organizations for budding engineers. Besides, for the benefit of future researchers, the honourable speaker reported distinct R&D support agencies. Furthermore, current research work in mm-wave high power microwave tubes in space applications was introduced.
