[Legacy Report] IEEE BVRIT Student Branch Inaugural session

The BVRIT IEEE Student Branch was Re-Inaugurated on 7th August 2013.
Firstly, Dr.Manoj Kumar Varma had addressed the students giving a brief account of IEEE.
It was followed by a non technical talk by Sri Krishna Gangaraju. He inspired everyone by giving a small talk being his objective to inspire everyone.
Then Sri.Ravichandran Rajagopal addressed the students and gave a brief account on IEEE Student Branch.
Later, Dr.Atul Negi, Chairman of IEEE Hyderabad Section gave a talk about the functioning and benefits of IEEE Student Branch.
Then, Prof.Alan Rux from University of Massachusetts gave a live demonstration of ‘Leap Technology’ which is a type of motion sensing. The session was very interesting.
This talk was followed by a talk on Science and Technology by Swetha Ravi Kumar, Project Manager at Fraunhofer , Germany.
Then everyone was recharged by an interaction session by Mr.Lokesh Kumar, coordinator of IEEE ComSoc, Hyderabad Section. It was a very interactive session and the students with right answers were awarded IEEE goodies.
The mementos were distributed and the session was ended with a good technical knowledge and with a lot of inspiration.
