About the Talk:
Panini’s Ashtadhyayi is Sanskrit treatise on grammar written in the 6th to 5th century BC by the Indian grammarian Panini. Panini formalised the phonetics of Sanskrit through his scientific grammar. “Huge amount of ideas are buried in the Astadhyayi. They can be used for formal language processing in computer science,†says Prof. Furio Honsell.

Furio Honsell, is professor in Foundations of Computer Science at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Udine, Italy.
