"Cloud Computing-DeMystified"
Cloud computing is the current rage among emerging tech trends. So vast is the realm that the scope, purpose and value is often ambiguous. Is cloud computing about data, about computing, about business services, or about something else? If Cloud computing is computing on the web, how different is this from the hosting services on the web or the much hyped Application Service providers of late nineties. Where is the data angle in this. Is big-data related only to the cloud. The emerging data services like NoSql not useful in hosted intranet solutions. Smart devices like iPad and mobile phones are an access device to the cloud, or is it THE cloud. Integration using REST and WebServcies has been around much before cloud computing, why the increased attention now. These questions, and many more come to the fore, anytime one mentions cloud computing. This session deliberates on the various aspects of cloud computing.
