IEEE NITK's event ENVISION is to foster the ideation in young minds and come up with innovative ideas and implementing them with the help of the student branch. Help is in form of monetary support from student branch's reserve as well as technical monitoring and mentoring by final year and pre-final year undergraduate students. This event is open only to IEEE Student members.
The event begins with junior undergrads filling in ideas through a Google form and a time of 1 month is allocated. Senior undergrads (IEEE student members) review the proposed projects, analyze feasibility and select a few projects for implementation phase.
Periodic reviews are held from January to March to monitor the progress of the project and in March during Annual Project Expo of IEEE NITK Student Chapter, completed projects are displayed.
The event therefore runs for a period of 4 to 5 months.
