April 2017

Event preparations were initiated by April 2017. Feedback from CSCON's 17 events was collected. The basic needs for CSCON'18 were determined.

May 2017

The IEEE and Computer Society's global events have begun to be explored in detail. IEEE Turkey Section were examined before the events it performs. An analysis of the participants in the target mass of the event was conducted.

June 2017

The official establishment of the Computer Society Chapter of IEEE Istanbul Kültür University has been completed. The opportunities and help that the IEEE has provided to student clubs have been examined. IEEE CS DVPs were investigated. Among the speakers, Seifedine Kadry 's name was on the foreground. Videos about his self were watched and his career was audited. IEEE Istanbul Kültür University host and Computer Engineering Department chairman met and ideas were taken. Possible speaker candidates were identified.

July 2017

We has been viewed events outside IEEE Turkey Branch and the branches of many countries in the world had contacted some. In particular, some important events in Region 8 and Region 10 have been examined. Important features of these events have been noted. Sponsorship activities and research started. Potential sponsors of the event were identified and lists were created. The meeting was held with the school management and the basis of the event was established. The current IEEE Turkey student representatives were interviewed.

August 2017

If circumstances arise, the event can be organized during October. SWOT analysis and Business Model of CSCON' 18 was created. 15.IEEE Turkey Student and Young Professionals from Congress to handle at Turkey Branch CSCON' 18 it was stated that we want to ideas were discussed with the student members of IEEE Turkey. etkinlig potential to join the club. It was announced that the event will determine the end result of the host school election.

September 2017

The sponsorship file was completed and all necessary information was written before the latest updates. Locations to be used for the event were located at the university. It was spoken to some academics and sponsors. The workshops for CSCON '18 have begun to be identified. Academic surveys have been completed nationwide. The contact information of all academics and sponsored companies is listed. Some of the workshops were understood by the important academics. For example Data Mining Lecturer for Assoc. Phd. Şadi Evren Şeker. He is one of the most popular academics of Turkey.

October 2017

CSCON nominations opened  for the host in Turkey Section. In the democratic election held, CS -student branch chairs of the universities voted. There are 4 candidate university in the election, and it earned a nomination of IEEE Istanbul Kültür University Computer Society Chapter, which alone occupies 65% of the votes.

Held in October in meetings of the Turkey branch CSCON' 18 began to be introduced. CSCON's main session was communicated with speakers for the keynote speakers. Faruk Eczacıbaşı and Suat Baysan became Keynote speakers.

November 2017

This month a main organization team of 3 people was established. Previously preparations made the IEEE İKU CS Chapter Chair alone. Communication with the IEEE IKU CS Chapter advisor Akhan Akbulut, who is located at North Caroline State University in America, was established. He wanted to be asked about his college ideas. The main organizational team continued on to the event promotion and where it was put into preparation. It was discussed with sponsors and student clubs. Social media work has begun.

December 2017

Held at the Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar Convention and Exhibition Center opened CSCON stands in Turkey Innovation Week. They meeted CSCON'17 (IEEE Dokuz Eylul University CS chapter) and CSCON'18 (IEEE Istanbul Kultur University CS Chapter) team came together. 5 days in the event, our booth visited many domestic and foreign enthusiasts. For CSCON, 15 people social media team, 10 people organization team was created.

January 2018

The sponsors had been completed. The lecturers and the sessions have been announced in great detail.

February 2018

The member of the orgazanation team has been raised to 25. All announcements took place at full speed. We prepared  made CSCON for 2-3-4 March 2018. Event register opened. More than 2000 applications received. Speakers and Trainers were all identified. The last shortcomings were eliminated.

March 2018

"IEEE Turkey Computer Society Congress - CSCON' 18" was organized on 2-3-4 March 2018. The first day of the conference was carried out in the second and third days of technical workshops. CSCON has attracted great interest from students, academicians, young professionals and representatives from various companies working in the sector, 112 universities, 6 high schools and one primary school. Also IEEE Region 8 (Except Turkey) participants  joined more than 200 people. We will give examples of these countries: Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Russia, Portugal, Azerbaijan, Iran, Cyprus, Egypt and middle eastern countries ... etc. CSCON' 18 congress held a general total of 1526 people in total.CSCON' 18 event was IEEE Turkey Section history most crowded event. IEEE and Computer Society promotional  kits sent. These products were used in stand. Participants talked about IEEE and Computer Society. The ambulance waited in the university for 3 days.All health precautions were taken. A hour of code time for 3rd grade students in primary school was arranged. They were taught coding knowledge. Various coffee chats were arranged.
