Abstract

NextInput is a first mover and leader in the emerging force sensing market.   While the company’s initial focus was on force sensing components targeting Mobile 3D touch displays, NextInput quickly repositioned itself to displace mechanical buttons and capacitive touch in 1-D and 2-D applications by providing comprehensive, system-level solutions.  Today, NextInput has created multiple product lines and is on the forefront of innovating disruptive new technologies targeting Human Machine Interface markets.

Biography:

Ali Foughi is a Silicon Valley executive with nearly thirty years of experience in semiconductors, MEMS sensors and system design. Mr. Foughi is the CEO and co-Founder of NextInput, a market leader in force sensing solutions enabling the next generation of intuitive, 1D/2D/3D HMI. Ali has taken NextInput from Seed Funding to revenue and the company is currently in mass production.

Before joining NextInput, Mr. Foughi was the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at InvenSense (NYSE: INVN) and VP & GM at Maxim Integrated (NASDAQ: MXIM), leading mixed-signal business units with revenues of $300M.
