Website developement workshop
The web development workshop conducted by IEEE SB BMSIT engaged students in an intuitive experience of making a website from scratch and uploading on a dedicated server. Mr. Gautama Bharadwaj , IEEE SB Chair hosted the workshop with the help of SB volunteers. The workshop integrated a hands on session throughout. The workshop began with welcoming the students and explaining them the course work planned out for the day.
HTML, CSS and Javascript, the three major front end web development tools were explained with required detail so that by the end of the session the students would be able to make their own websites. After every major topic the students were given enough time to practice what they’ve learnt or ask for any pending doubts so as to keep everyone on the same page during the course of next topic. The volunteers were available throughout the complete session helping students and the speaker to be on the same page. At the near end of the session everyone had their sites uploaded to a dedicated server via Bytehost.
