IEEE HOU Sec. Seminar: Robocalls/text and its implications on customer experience, organizational branding & revenue losses!
Registration strongly recommended.
Robocalls has become a topic in the mobile consumer industry with growing frustration. What is the source of the spam calls, and where these calls originate? Why these calls couldn't be stopped, and what are the limitations that curb prevention of the spam calls/text? On economy impact, an underlying biggest problem that is of major concerns for operators/carriers/enterprises is toll fraud, which is a multi $Billion dollar loss to the telecommunication industry. A paper has already published in Engineering management journal for the same topic, advising for strategic actions. Covering these topics and providing a solution, that prevents both robocalls and fraud activities, applicable to both businesses and consumers, is the key take-away from this presentation topic.
The link for the published paper can be accessed at https://ieeexplore.ieee.
