Nebraska Section Women in Engineering Investigative Meeting
The Nebraska Section of IEEE has been looking to see if there is interest in having a Women in Engineering Affinity Group, and after some expressed interest and great feedback in the meeting last month, we'd like to have a follow-up WebEx meeting. We will answer questions raised in October, establish frequency and time of meetings, and talk about what we want to have in future meetings (speakers, discussion topics, etc.). Liang Downey, Committee Chair for the Region 4 WIE Group, will join our call and share what benefits there are to join and hold have an Affinity Group, what other WIE Affinity Groups do, etc. It promises to be a very informative evening! All women in engineering are welcome!
