IEEE Central Coast - 3D Printer Demonstration - 3 February @ 5:30PM
Greetings, Goleta Valley Library (GVL) has invited IEEE members (& Guests) to observe their 3D Printer in action. A GVL library card includes the privilege of having your "project" printed for a minimal fee. Please see below for details. Refreshments will be available before the Demo. Best regards, Ruth Franklin, IEEE Central Coast Chair
GVL is happy to offer patrons the ability to submit projects to be printed on the library’s 3-D printer. The 3-D printer can create a physical object based on a design supplied as a digital file. These can be designs you’ve created yourself, or designs you’ve obtained from another source and have permission to use. Please register yourself and guest for the Demo.

3D Printing Demonstration
The library is happy to offer patrons the ability to submit projects to be printed on the library’s 3-D printer. The 3-D printer can create a physical object based on a design supplied as a digital file. These can be designs you’ve created yourself, or designs you’ve obtained from another source and have permission to use.
Goleta Valley Library cardholders can use this form to submit a request for a project to be printed on the library’s 3-D printer, a Dagoma printer. The form can be submitted via email to goletavalleylibrary@cityofgoleta.org or brought to the Library Service Desk. Once you submit it, a library staff member will be in touch with you to arrange for you to send us the design file for the project you’d like to print. Once it is determined that the project to be printed does not violate the Goleta Valley Library 3-D Printing Policy, your project will go into the queue to be printed. Once it is completed, a staff member will let you know it is available at the library to be picked up.
