IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section Student Congress 2020
IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section organized Sub Section Student Congress with the theme Sustainable Employment with Industry 4.0 on the 25th January, 2020 where student from 16 colleges, more than 150 students across Andhra Pradesh attended the event. Project expo, Student Branch exhibits, talks and cultural events were organized.
Prof.V.Krishna Mohan, Registrar, Andhra University has made his presence in the inaugural function of the Congress and mentioned about the idea of entrepreneurship and the qualities to possess before becoming one.
Dr. G Sri Lakshmi, SAC chair in her talk on Benefits of IEEE membership she discussed the opportunities that are provided in doing research publication, higher education, funding and discounts offered by IEEE.
B.K. Sahu, Regional Manager, NRDC IPFC & TISC has given talk on entrepreneurship in India, and addressed about patents and the current scope for invention and research.
Ice breaking session have attracted many of the students with the goodies.
In Project presentation session students from different colleges presented their idea and models. Some of them are gestures control laptop using ultrasonic sensor, IOT based smart irrigations system for farmers.
Mr. Murali Manohar Rao Bulusu, Vice President, Strategic marketing, Sankhya Technologies discussed on theme Sustainable Employment and how to grow as an individual.
