The PES and IAS Chapters will sponsor a technical seminar on the topic of GIS Integrated Analytics for Preventive Maintenance and Storm Response. The session will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at PSE&G’s Hadley Road Facility, 4000 Hadley Road, South Plainfield, NJ 07080-1192.

The seminar will cover:
• Vegetation Management - a foundational element of a proactive reliability plan
• Davey Resource Group Analytics – the importance of data for reliability initiatives
• Condition Assessment and Preventive/Predictive programs
• Case study on the Impact of MEDs on Long-term System Performance
• Using Analytics with your GIS system to create Preventive/Predictive programs for proactive reliability centered maintenance.

Biography: John Lauletta has been involved in electric utility measurement technology since 1975. John's career includes ten years with American Electric Power as Measurements Manager, 14 Years as VP Scientific Columbus and most recently as CEO of Exacter, Inc. John holds engineering degrees from The Ohio State University and Purdue University and is the Past Chair of the Central Ohio Power Engineering Society Chapter of IEEE. John holds several patents in predictive failure technologies.

Agenda

The seminar fee includes lunch, refreshments and handouts. Non-members joining IEEE within 30 days of the seminar will be rebated 50% of the IEEE registration charge.

Four hours of instruction will be provided. If desired, IEEE Continuing Education Units (0.4 CEUs) will be offered for this course - a small fee of $45 will be required for processing.
